excerpts from my oddling past

reading old diary entries all night because i was a weird kid who wrote many stories about eating and spree killing, and i wanted song writing material. here are some non food and violence related choice tidbits from my prepubescent mind, though, for everyone's amusement:

11 years old
"My hobbies are reading, collecting stamps, polishing rocks, and pottery."

unknown year- elementary school journal
"I read this one book for adults called 'Jurrasic Park'. It was about some scientists wanting to open a dinosaur park, and how they do that is by taking dinosaur eggs and some dinosaur bones and rearranging the molecules. Millions of tourists came and it was great, until something went wrong. The dinosaurs weren't used to people and they bit children and they ate babies. Very, very interesting"

"I might get to go live in 1 of 3 houses on the street of dreams, because my mom's boyfriend Bruce wants to buy one, and he will probably ask us to live with him. I would have my own room and my own bathroom and my own file cabnient."

6th grade
"Three things other people say I do well is read, tell jokes, and make a fool of myself"

12/29/93
"Right now, I'm trying to write a story about two families moving to the Australian outback. It should be interesting. Gotago! Love, Tori P.S. I heart the world!"

3/28/93
"At the social, I had a blast! I danced with Benny! A slow song: Anniversary by Toni, Tony, Tone!"

sometime in 1991
"David asked me out! Our first date was a double date with Jace and Quinae. We went bowling. It was fun, and at the end, he bought me a pop! I thought things were going fine. We called each other and hung out together at school. Then he started to act really weird. I wanted to believe it was the medicine he takes, but I knew he was going to DUMP me."

sometime in 1995
"I'm watching Footloose. It's kinda crazy. I never knew Kevin Bacon could dance like that. I saw him once in a book on roller disco. He does some crazy stuff."

4/27/93
"Maybe I should be a loner. I'm going to try it out tomorrow"

okay, one about food:

unknown year, elementary school journal:
"On Easter, I went out to breakfast with my Dad. Instead of eating breakfast, I ate lunch. I ordered the GRAND SLAM. It is really a big mans meal, but I did not know that. On the GRAND SLAM there is 1 hotdog, 1 hamburger, french fries, and onion rings.I ate it all, and it was quite good. After breakfast, I went to the movie Straight Talk. It was the second time I have seen it. It is good, it is funny. After that, I stayed home and organized my baseball cards."

and one about violence:

unknown year, elementary school essay:
"If I was a Psycho by Tori Brewster
If I was a Psycho, I would probably kill all my childhood enemies. I might even kill some of my mean friends too. I would trick people into liking me and then, kill them! I love to trick people! I would take them into the woods where no one could hear them scream 'BLOODY MURDER'! It would be mentally cruel, but a breath taking experiance. I would NEVER, EVER get caught. But if I did, I would kill myself, or one of the cops.
I would hide out in Washington, Montana, Florida, and California. Of course, I would have a different name than Tori. My name would be VICTORIA MONROW. I would maybe have three helpers, PARIS, DARRYL, AND KAREN. We would travel around the world killing people and children. It would be fun. We could free each other from jail, KILL COPS TOGETHER, AND someday, DIE TOGETHER!!!!!"

i have been looking all night, and I seriously cannot find one shred of evidence that I ever got cool. My hobby was rock polishing? Seriously? Fuck.
