I just wrote a long, lovely piece about running, and happiness, and manic depression, and the future, and the internet ate it. So we get this quote instead. It's Steinbeck.
"For I have always lived violently, drunk hugely, eaten too much or not at all, slept around the clock or missed two nights of sleeping, worked too hard and too long in glory, or slobbed for a time in utter laziness. I've lifted, pulled, chopped, climbed, made love with joy and taken my hangovers as a consequence, not as a punishment. I [do] not want to surrender my fierceness for a small gain in yardage."
Pretty much my mantra, even though I am old and dont smoke and rarely drink and like to GO RUNNING!
Also. I asked a boy to take ball room dancing classes with me.
And I might get a really silly song lyric tattooed across my chest, which is fitting considering the two other song lyric tats I already have.
